OBSERVATIONS

The largest European concrete-arched span bridge for the AVE (Spanish high-speed train).

A special arch of 261m of span executed on a falsework built on the ground up to a temporary pile and temporary and consecutive stressed voussoirs (metallic piles). Cantilevers of varied length, width and depth of 3.00 - 3.66 x 8.23 - 6.00 x 3.15 - 2.80 m with a maximum weight of 111 tonnes.

The access spans are built on the deck with a self-supporting launching falsework and the central spans with a falsework leaned on the arch Fixed section on the buttress.
